Sweet Steel Cut Oats

  1. Rinse the steel cut oats under running water and drain well.
  2. Add the oats, milk, water, brown sugar/maple syrup, cinnamon and salt to the rice cooker. Close the lid and select the “porridge” or “slow cook” setting.
  3. Let the oats cook for about an hour, or until the rice cooker switches to the “keep warm” mode.
  4. Stir and serve the oats hot, topped with your toppings of choice.
